I wanted to write this because I almost let a bad tik tok review scare me out of going through my surgery at Miami life and I am so glad I didn’t. This was my second time getting lipo 360. My first experience was at Mia Aesthetics, so I have something to compare it to. This time around was completely different and a much better experience. From the beginning, I felt informed and safe. The surgeon took his time explaining everything to me, answered all my questions thoroughly and made me feel comfortable instead of rushed. I never felt like just another patient. Pre op and post op were very efficient I was in and out without sitting around all day. What stood out the most was the follow up. They’ve called and texted me multiple times to check in on me and make sure my recovery is going okay. My doctor, Dr. Miller was amazing, professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring the entire time. Everyone’s experience can be different but mine was truly positive and I’m grateful I trusted my own experience instead of letting social media make that decision for me.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Miller at Miami Life Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Miller gave me all the information in detail and made sure I understood every part of the process. He was very professional, patient, and made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision. The coordinator was amazing and guided me through everything step by step. Even after surgery, the team continued to check on me and provide clear post-surgery instructions. I felt very supported during my recovery, My results are absolutely unbelievable. I’m so amazed every time I look in the mirror — it truly exceeded my expectation and truly grateful for the whole team. Highly recommend! And thank you very much!!!!

I am currently 12 days post-op from a drainless tummy tuck and still trying to process my overall experience. I traveled to Miami for surgery. My surgery coordinator, Shabell, was great — she was helpful, responsive, and made the scheduling process smooth. When I arrived in Miami, I had my pre-op appointment. I was advised the day of my surgeon Dr.Chavez was out of the office, so I only met with a medical assistant who drew my blood for a CBC, cotinine test, and pregnancy test. Because my platelets were previously elevated, I needed a redraw. The following day was surgery. I had to ask for my own CBC results, briefly met the anesthesiologist who was pleasant, and finally met the Dr.Chavez for a few minutes for markings before going into surgery. After surgery, I’m assuming I spent about 45 minutes in recovery (I was still coming off anesthesia) . Once I came to and could recall , I was being wheeled outside to meet my cousin who had been waiting for me. Unfortunately, communication with her was not organized — she had no idea I was being released until I was already outside. I had a post-op visit the next day, but I’m not sure who I saw, it was not Dr.Chavez or any doctor. Bandages were changed and that was essentially it. Before returning home four days later, I requested a second post-op which was 4 days after surgery, just to be safe and to determine if I needed to extend my stay. Again, bandages were changed but there was little discussion beyond that. The post-op instructions were given in an envelope and were very general. Nothing was explained about my specific surgery — what was repaired, how much skin was removed, potential complications, or detailed warning signs. I never saw my surgeon again after the day of surgery. I also was not educated about important aftercare items such as lipo foams, stage fajas, lymphatic massages, or supplement medications. Overall, the communication did not feel consistent with what I expected from a medical facility. After returning home, I began lymphatic massages. On day 7, when removing my surgical tape, I discovered three large blisters that were not caused by my faja — they appeared to be burns. When the tape was removed, my skin came off with it. The post-op team called me ONCE on the day I was officially 1 week post-op ; I missed the call but immediately called back. The receptionist took notes, but I am still CURRENTLY waiting for a callback from the post-op team. At this point, I’m still healing and trying to determine how I feel about the overall experience. As a medical professional myself, my expectations were clearly too high. The coordinator was wonderful, but the lack of clear communication, limited post-op guidance, and difficulty reaching the medical team have been concerning during what is already a vulnerable recovery process. The healing seems fairly normal outside of random bruising but I am scheduled to see my own doctor for my concerns.

My experience at Miami Life Cosmetic Center has been amazing from start to finish. Dr. Godat made me feel completely comfortable and really took the time to understand the exact breast size and look I wanted. He listened, gave great guidance, and made sure the results would fit naturally with my body. On top of that, he was funny and easygoing, which helped calm my nerves. Even the anesthesiologist had a great sense of humor, the whole team made the process feel lighter and less intimidating. I’m now about 4 months post‑op, and the healing process hasn’t been bad at all. I definitely had some pain along the way, but that’s expected. I can see my breast getting into that final shape now. What really stood out to me was how consistent they were with checking in during my recovery. Those follow‑ups made me feel supported and reassured every step of the way. Overall, I’m grateful for the care, professionalism, and personality of the entire team. I’d absolutely recommend Miami Life Cosmetic Center to anyone considering surgery.

I expected better communication and compassion during my recovery, but that wasn’t what I experienced. After a serious post‑op complication, I went back for help and felt like I was an inconvenience. Dr. Michael Miller tone and attitude made me feel dismissed at a time when I was already scared and vulnerable. I felt like he didn’t care and I was an inconvenience in his surgery schedule. I don’t feel I received the level of care or respect a patient deserves, and I wouldn’t choose this clinic again based on my experience.
