Overall, I have been pleased with this practice and the staff has always been friendly and professional during my visits. The providers seem knowledgeable and the office itself runs smoothly during appointments.
However, I remain very disappointed with the follow-up and communication after a recent biopsy. I received a voicemail on a Tuesday saying they had my results and asked that I call them back. That alone creates anxiety Unfortunately, I missed the call. Over the next three days, I returned the call three separate times. Each time, I never got a person who could help. Only voice mail…and answering service assured me someone would call me back either by the end of the day or by noon the next day. That call never came.
Instead, I eventually woke up to see the results posted in my patient portal. Based on the wording of the findings, it appears the area may need further evaluation. I’m not a doctor, so having to read medical terminology and try to interpret it myself only created unnecessary anxiety.
Situations like biopsy results are exactly when communication and follow-up matter the most. Patients shouldn’t have to chase down their doctors or do their own research to understand potentially concerning results.
Again, the staff is friendly and the care during visits has been good, but the lack of responsiveness and follow-through in a situation like this is frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable. I hope the office improves its communication process because it shouldn’t be this difficult to get a callback about important medical results.

Pack a meal and bring a pillow. This office has a 100% rate of disrespecting your time by making you wait over an hour without any notification that they are running late.
Though, Dr Falabella is worth the wait. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I had an excellent first experience at Hollywood Dermatology and Cosmetic Specialists for a facial. The aesthetician walked me through the entire process, so even the slight discomfort felt easy to handle because I knew what to expect. After hydrating my skin, she honestly told me that I wouldn’t need another facial for four months since my skin was in great condition, which I truly appreciated. In a world where many upsell services, her honesty stood out, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Constanza you’re awesome. Thank you! ❤️🌹

I had an excellent first time experience at Hollywood Dermatology and Cosmetic Specialists. I went there for a facial. I received a birthday gift certificate a year ago! The aesthetician walked me through the entire process, so even the slight discomfort felt easy to handle because I knew what to expect. After hydrating my skin, she honestly told me that I wouldn’t need another facial for several months since my skin was in great condition, which I truly appreciated. My face looks fabulous, I don’t mind saying so myself. 😂 In a world where many upsell services, her honesty stood out, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Constanza!

This was our first visit at this location and our first encounter with the P.A. was a breath of fresh air. Dr Romina P.A., was attentive and kind. She actually listened to our concerns about our toddler’s eczema allowing us to create a plan we all were comfortable with. We walked out with written instructions and a sense of hope and clarity. The office team was polite, prompt and respected the appt time well.
